a-live Member Since: May 2003
Voice Part: Baritone and Lead
Musical Experience: From the age of 6 until the age of twelve i studied piano at the “Conservatoire populaire” in Geneva and that’s where I had my first “live sessions” (performing classical pieces during music school concerts).  At the age of eight I heard Elvis for the first time and…  wahou!!!  I loved the way he could express the right sentiments at the right time and bring a song into light; I guess that changed my life.  Since then I just wanted to be on stage like “my king” used to do so amazingly beautifully!
So, later on I gave up on piano and started picking a guitar and singing.  I performed in a local band called “FMR”, we gave several concerts in pubs and stages in Romandie, and we had some great times together.  I joined a country music band in my twenties called “sky Ranch” and we performed at some very nice festivals and venues but I wanted to make my own mistakes, experiences and learn from them, so I started playin’ lots of solo gigs with my guitar.  I tried to make a livin’ with it, it’s been a great time because I needed to play a lot and couldn’t complain to anyone… but myself.  Then I met up with my friend André who was an “a-live” member and he led me into the “magical world of a cappella music”.  Since then I’ve kept writing songs and kept singing to my guitar but I have become an “a cappella singer”.  It’s really something with the guys, so please come and see us on stage!
